The 2nd Generation of one of the most beloved reels from Lews Fishing is finally here. The Lews Super Duty is a one-piece aluminum frame and handle sideplate reel featuring stainless steel, double shielded bearings. The P2 Super Pinion bearing supported pinion gear provides precise alignment and solid stability, resulting in smoother operation and extended gear life. The carbon fiber drag system provides 20lbs of drag power to put the angler in control of the fight, while the deep capacity 34mm spool is designed to withstand heavy braid to for strength in hooksets. Every model in this new line up includes a flipping switch. By engaging the flipping switch, you can cast, release the thumb bar and engage the reel without having to turn the handle to re-engage the reel. This is a great feature for flipping jigs.
